The description for this Slenderman iOS game says “Experience the game they’re calling ‘the most scary game of all time’”
I don’t know who the heck “they” are but given that the game has absolutely no objectives and barely any mechanics at all and you pretty much just wander around with a flashlight until a shitty Slenderman model comes into view, I think this might be the only remotely scary game “they” have probably ever played in their entire life
That’s the only way this could possibly deserve such a diagnosis
Jump scares are nothing to write home about, Super Mario 64 had jump scares for fuck’s sake
I don’t understand how people go so bonkers over such a skeletal survival horror model just because it has a recognizable internet meme at its core
Well actually I guess I just answered that question so I do understand it, I just find it incredibly silly
I still don’t understand why Slenderman is so incredibly terrifying to people just like in general
If someone could properly explain that to me that’d be great
