i bet you guys thought i forgot about you.
LOL THINK AGAIN.
i’ve just been busy, sorry it’s taken me so long to get around to you *hugs*
stephanie: your name comes from the greek word “στέφανος” meaning “crown.” since óðinn is the crowned one of norse mythology, i figured you would be frigg. since frigg is kind of short, you could stick a prefix onto it, for example ás- or guð-, or a suffix like -björg, -dís. (all of those can be found hnyah.)
nicole (niklii): yours was pretty simple actually! your name is the female derivative of nicholas which comes from the greek “νικόλαος” (“νίκη” = “victory,” “λαός” = “people”) meaning “victory of the people” or “power of the people.” henceforth, the prefix of your name would be “sig-,” and i couldn’t find a suffix that corresponded with people in some way, so you can also find a suffix hnyah. (but if you want my advice i think sigurrós would be a nice name since, you know.)
barrett: as you said, your name comes from old german meaning “strength of a bear.” magni was the norse god of strength, so it seems only natural that your name should be “magnús.”
word sons~~
Guys my Icelandic name is Frigg.
Yay!
