remember that period of time when you were new to Sigur Rós and you couldn’t tell the difference between songs?
like, is this festival or ný batterí or what? what untitled # is this?!
but now
it’s like, HOW CAN YOU NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE
they are all so different and beautiful
they don’t have a terrible song
and now we can name the tune within the first two seconds (I mean Svefn-g-englar, right?) and I dunno I think that’s very nice that there is a substantial catalog of songs from Sigur Rós and yet we can differentiate all of them and we all have different favorites and different ones for different moods or occasions and some we sing along to, and others still we are stunned silent by; some we dance or twirl to and others that just make us curl up into the fetal position
that’s beautiful
